Recently, the multi blade stepped gantry shear developed by domestic equipment enterprises has been granted a utility model patent authorization, which rewrites the traditional scrap steel cutting operation mode with the technology of "one blade, multiple segments, and one molding".

Compared with traditional single blade gantry shears, this new equipment adopts a multi blade synchronous cutting structure, which can cut large pieces of scrap steel into standard sizes at once, reduce repeated feeding and secondary processing, and improve comprehensive efficiency by nearly 50%. Simultaneously equipped with AI visual safety monitoring, real-time monitoring of the work area, achieving human-machine isolation and fault warning, further enhancing production safety.

According to on-site measurements, after the equipment was put into use on the scrap steel processing line, the single shift processing capacity significantly increased, power consumption decreased, and the discharge specifications became more uniform, which can directly meet the standards for steelmaking entering the furnace. At present, it has been implemented and applied in multiple large-scale renewable resource bases, becoming a key equipment for improving the quality and efficiency of scrap steel processing.
